CARE Organization’s Youth & Women Empowerment program focuses on strengthening the capacity, confidence, and opportunities of young people and women to actively participate in their communities and shape their own futures.
Through awareness, skills development, mentorship, community engagement, and access to relevant opportunities, the program seeks to equip participants with practical knowledge and capabilities that can contribute to personal growth, economic resilience, and meaningful participation in decision-making.
We believe that empowered women and young people are essential to strong and resilient communities. Our work therefore promotes inclusion, leadership, self-reliance, dignity, and equal opportunities while encouraging participants to become positive contributors within their families and communities.
The program creates pathways for young people and women to build confidence, develop useful skills, understand their rights and responsibilities, and identify opportunities that can improve their social and economic wellbeing.
Our goal is to help create communities where women and young people have the knowledge, voice, skills, and opportunities needed to participate meaningfully and contribute to sustainable development.
